High Transmission Glan Laser Polarizer(Brewster Angle Polarizer) is designed such that all four interfaces for the transmitted extraordinary beam are at Brewster’s angle. This results in a transmission to p-polarized input beams as high as 98%. Note that a lateral displacement is introduced to the emerging beam. Two escape windows are included. For the high transmission of wide range of wavelength, the polarizer’s acceptance angle should be within ±5°.
